Cooks & Soldiers brings the flavors of Spain’s Basque Country to West Midtown with pintxos, shareable plates and wood-grilled dishes.

Cooks & Soldiers is a Basque-inspired restaurant from Castellucci Hospitality Group, drawing its name and culinary inspiration from the people and traditions of Spain’s Basque Country. The menu centers on pintxos, the region’s distinctive small plates, alongside larger shareable dishes and meats and seafood prepared over a wood-fired grill. Rooted in the convivial spirit of Basque dining, Cooks & Soldiers combines bold flavors, seasonal ingredients and a lively atmosphere designed for gathering around the table.

On Sunday, November 8, Howell Mill Road closes to cars and opens to everyone — an afternoon of food, music and family-friendly fun from the Upper Westside Improvement District. A few weeks after the last Restaurant Week table is cleared, the same neighborhood is worth a second trip.
