For West Midtown Restaurant Week, Drawbar is offering two ways to experience its Southern-inspired cooking. The $45 three-course Restaurant Week dinner lets guests build their own meal, beginning with choices such as Fried Green Tomatoes or Nashville Hot Deviled Eggs, followed by entrées including Pan-Roasted Chicken, Blackened Shrimp & Chicken Rigatoni or Seared Salmon, and desserts such as Caramel Brûlée Cheesecake or Peach Bread Pudding. Premium entrée upgrades are also available. Drawbar is also hosting Smoke & Ash: Chef’s Tasting Dinner, a special four-course experience built around fire, smoke and seasonal flavors. The menu progresses from Charred Gulf Shrimp with smoked corn purée to Wild Mushroom Ravioli, Prime New York Strip with potato pavé and charred shallot demi-glace, and Salted Caramel Crème Brûlée. Each course is paired with a specially created cocktail, including the First Flame, Smoke in the Orchard, Burning Manhattan and Last Ember.

On Sunday, November 8, Howell Mill Road closes to cars and opens to everyone — an afternoon of food, music and family-friendly fun from the Upper Westside Improvement District. A few weeks after the last Restaurant Week table is cleared, the same neighborhood is worth a second trip.
