Miller Union showcases seasonal, farmstead-inspired Southern cooking from James Beard Award-winning chef Steven Satterfield.

Miller Union is a celebrated, seasonally driven restaurant from James Beard Award-winning chef Steven Satterfield and co-owner Neal McCarthy. Since opening in West Midtown in 2009, the restaurant has become an Atlanta dining mainstay, known for its farmstead-inspired approach and deep relationships with local growers and producers. Satterfield’s ingredient-driven cooking follows the changing harvest, combining refined technique with Southern culinary traditions and a particular emphasis on vegetables and seasonal produce. An acclaimed wine program focused on small, sustainably minded producers complements the menu, creating a dining experience that is sophisticated, approachable and distinctly rooted in the South.

On Sunday, November 8, Howell Mill Road closes to cars and opens to everyone — an afternoon of food, music and family-friendly fun from the Upper Westside Improvement District. A few weeks after the last Restaurant Week table is cleared, the same neighborhood is worth a second trip.
