Since opening the first Taqueria del Sol in 2000, diners have been invited to try inventive and delicious options for lunch and dinner - after waiting in the infamous line, of course. While the menu is driven by Mexican cuisine, many of the menu items feature a cross-cultural flair giving diners the truly one of a kind experience that only Taqueria del Sol can offer.

For West Midtown Restaurant Week, Taqueria del Sol is serving Black Bean Enchiladas for $11, featuring two corn tortillas filled with refried black beans and topped with a rich cheese sauce and avocado-jalapeño drizzle, served with Mexican rice and a fresh salad mix garnish. The special is available for both lunch and dinner, and guests can pair it with $8 House Margaritas offered throughout the week.

On Sunday, November 8, Howell Mill Road closes to cars and opens to everyone — an afternoon of food, music and family-friendly fun from the Upper Westside Improvement District. A few weeks after the last Restaurant Week table is cleared, the same neighborhood is worth a second trip.
